Teresa Paul
Teresa grew up in Little Rock, Arkansas and moved to the East Coast to pursue her dream of being a White House correspondent. A New York voice coach convinced Teresa that her southern accent would work against her in national television, so she pivoted and concentrated her studies in public relations instead. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Communications from George Mason University.
Teresa uses her excellent communication and multi-tasking skills to provide first-rate support to the firm’s attorneys and clients. She has handled hundreds of probate cases from beginning to end and treats each case, whether it is a $5,000 or $5,000,000 estate – with the same attention to detail. Our clients love her warmth, compassion and her southern accent.
Prior to joining The Law Office of Michael Paul, PLLC, Teresa worked as a paralegal handling probate administration cases at Warren, Shackleford & Thomas in Wake Forest, North Carolina. Her career also consists of extensive experience working in leadership positions with non-profits, in both paid and volunteer capacities. She is an advocate for families facing food insecurity and currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Northeast Wake Backpack Buddies. Previously, she served for two years on the Advisory Committee for the Food Pantry & Crisis Center at North Raleigh Ministries and twice co-chaired their largest fundraiser.
When she is not handling probate cases or raising money for a good cause, Teresa enjoys reading, traveling and spending time with her family. She loves country music and has a self-professed pumpkin spice addiction.
