About The Firm
When you reach out to us, you’re doing more than starting a legal process—you’re connecting with a team that’s truly here for you.
From your first phone call to the moment everything is signed and settled, you’ll have a caring team by your side: your attorney, your paralegal, and your legal assistant.
We work together closely so that you never feel like just another case file. We don’t rely on mobile notaries or folks you’ll never meet—our team is consistent, experienced, and easy to reach if questions ever come up or if documents ever need to be revisited.
Because to us, this isn’t just about paperwork. It’s about peace of mind for you and your family.
Our Team

Michael Paul
Michael is a trusted advisor in estate planning and real estate, with over 25 years of legal experience helping individuals, families, and small business owners protect what matters most. His career began with a passion for advocacy and evolved into a focused commitment to guiding clients through the complexities of wills, trusts, probate, and incapacity planning.
Michael’s estate planning practice grew organically from his work with business clients and now centers on creating tailored solutions for those looking to secure their legacies, minimize tax burdens, and plan for the unexpected. Clients value his clarity, empathy, and ability to navigate sensitive family dynamics with professionalism and care.
With a decade as an attorney in the mortgage industry and a Certified Mortgage Bankers (CMB) designation from the Mortgage Bankers Association, Michael brings uncommon insight to inheritance-related deed transfers and large land transactions. His dual expertise in legal and mortgage matters means clients get seamless support from start to finish.
Michael graduated cum laude from the University of San Diego and earned his Juris Doctor from the National Law Center at George Washington University. He is a member of the North Carolina Bar Association and the Wake County Bar Association. Outside the office, he enjoys spending time with his wife and son and playing golf. Michael is a Town Commissioner for Rolesville (2024-2027), where he is the liaison to our senior population.

Teresa Paul
Teresa brings warmth, precision, and years of legal experience to her role as a probate paralegal at the Law Office of Michael Paul, PLLC. A Communications graduate of George Mason University, she originally aspired to be a White House correspondent—until a voice coach concerned about her Southern accent nudged her toward public relations instead.
In her ninth year as a probate paralegal, Teresa has assisted on more than 700 probate cases with unwavering attention to detail, regardless of an estate’s size. Clients value her compassion, dedication, and yes—her unmistakable Southern accent. Before joining the firm, she was a probate paralegal at a Wake Forest law firm for over three years, and she has held leadership roles in numerous nonprofits.
A long-time and passionate advocate for families facing food insecurity, Teresa currently serves on the Board of Directors of Northeast Wake Backpack Buddies. When she’s not streamlining estates or rallying support for local causes, you’ll find her reading, traveling with family, or embracing her love of country music and all things pumpkin spice.

Virginia “Gigi” Holden
As the newest member of our team, Gigi has quickly become an integral part of our practice. She proudly became a Legal Assistant at our office in early 2024. She graduated cum laude from East Carolina University in 2021 with a degree in Criminal Justice and a minor in Psychology. Originally from South Carolina, Gigi has called North Carolina home since 2004 and lives in Rolesville. She’s passionate about the legal field and excited to grow her career as she works toward becoming a certified paralegal.
Outside of work, Gigi enjoys spending time with her family and friends, especially outdoors—whether it’s hiking, jet skiing, or relaxing by the water. As the second oldest of six siblings and the oldest daughter, she’s naturally organized, dependable, and always ready to take the lead.
